Senior Developer

Annata builds rental and fleet solutions for the automotive and equipment industries on top of D365. I joined as a lead developer on the AX 2012 R3 to D365 Finance & Operations upgrade programme and stayed for the implementations that followed.

• Led three full-lifecycle D365 F&SCM implementations, four integration projects and an Electronic Reporting project.
• Delivered upgrades to D365 F&O from AX 2004, AX 2009 and AX 2012 R3 — three legacy starting points, each with its own assumptions to unpick.
• Designed and led the Azure integration architecture: Logic Apps, API Management, Function Apps and Event Grid, covering file exchange with SFTP and blob storage, invoice import, reprocessing and cancellation with multi-attachment handling, and HR integration between D365 Talent and the F&O HR module.
• Built Data Lake integrations to retrieve historical data from legacy databases and run complex calculations against it.
• Rewrote a large-volume data export that had been taking TODO minutes so that it completed in seconds. TODO: add the before and after numbers — this is one of your strongest lines and it currently has none.
• Implemented role-based security and XDS security policies across finance, SCM, service management, asset management, work order and rental modules.
• Wrote IDDs, FDDs and TDDs, and ran handover and post-go-live documentation sessions.

Custom development for clients across retail, rental, manufacturing and distribution, from estimation through to production support.

• Built the Amazon Pay integration with Demandware.
• Integrated price import from an AS/400 system into Dynamics AX 2012 R3, and AX 2009 with Gold-Vision CRM.
• Designed and delivered XDS security for a D365 F&O customer.
• Delivered numerous AIF inbound and outbound interfaces, and SSRS reports across multiple clients.
• Estimated change requests, wrote the technical designs, built them, tested them and supported them afterwards — the full width of the work rather than a slice of it.

• Investigated, debugged and fixed production issues across sales and purchase ledger, general ledger, inventory, logistics, commodity trading, service management, system administration and CRM.
• Handled layer releases, hotfix application and XPO delivery through dev, test, UAT and production.

• Flight management systems in AX 2009 for the public corporation operating eleven Scottish airports. Delivered 23 projects covering change requests, Enterprise Portal development and SQL fixes.
• Trained in AX 2012 Financials, Trade & Logistics and Development Introduction by Mindaugas Pocius, author of the Dynamics AX Development Cookbooks.

• Built an ASP.NET-to-Axapta integration proof of concept via the .NET Business Connector, and a SaaS solution for the Indian leather manufacturing sector for Microsoft India.
